Surah At Takwir
Surah At-Takwir, also known as “The Folding Up” or “The Wound Round and Lost its Light,” is the 81st chapter of the (Quran). It’s a short Surah, with only 29 verses, but it packs a powerful punch. Revealed in Makkah, it paints a vivid picture of a significant event – the Day of Judgement.
Imagine a time when the world as we know it changes completely. The sun, which gives us light and warmth, loses its shine. The stars, twinkling beautifully at night, disappear. Even the mighty mountains, seemingly unmovable, are scattered. This is the kind of scene Surah At-Takwir describes.
