Surah Abasa
Surah Abasa, which means “He Frowned” in English, is the 80th chapter of the Quran.
It is a Makki surah, meaning it was revealed in Makkah during the early period of Islam.
The surah is relatively short, with only 42 verses.
The story of Surah Abasa revolves around Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and a blind man who approached him while he was busy preaching to a group of important people. The Prophet (PBUH) unintentionally turned away from the blind man, which displeased Allah. The surah then goes on to emphasize the importance of showing kindness and respect to everyone, regardless of their social status.
