Surah At Tur

Origin: This Surah was revealed during the period when Mekka became a place for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to stay before he moved to Medina.

Nickname: Another name given to this sura because it mentions a mountain in the beginning (some people think that that mountain could be Mount Sinai) is “The Mount”.
