Surah Al Balad
Surah Al-Balad is the 90th chapter of the Quran, titled “The City”. It’s a short Surah with 20 verses but addresses a big decision we can all make in life. This Surah had been revealed in Makkah, which is a holy city located in Saudi Arabia.
Balad here could mean test or challenge. This Surah starts by reminding that Allah (SWT) created us and that life can be difficult. We might face hardships and even think nobody can see us.
